From Admin Assistant to Accounts Manager

Pamela Behan, Accounts Manager at Dawsongroup | TCS Ireland joined the company in 2014 as an Admin Assistant before taking a rather scenic route to her current role. Pamela originally was appointed for a temporary 9-month internship through the Jobsbridge scheme; however, such was her successful contribution to the business, her role became permanent.

Pamela soon progressed to the service desk, overseeing the transport of all the units and in time, she began working on the accounts function of credit control and processing invoices. As the accounts function grew, as did Pamela’s passion for accounts, Pamela took on more of these tasks and became Accounts Administrator in 2018 before being appointed to Accounts Manager in November 2021.

Pamela’s current responsibilities include completing all required business accounts functions, managing the forecast and budgets for the company, organising customer contracts, and ensuring the ‘day to day’ smooth running of office operations.

Throughout her time with Dawsongroup | TCS Ireland, Pamela has attained professional accomplishments such as the Qualified Accountant Technician with ATI and the Qualified Mental Health First Aider with MHFA England. Pamela’s training as a Mental Health First Aider enabled her to become an integral part of the dedicated Dawsongroup Wellbeing team which aims to create a health-promoting workplace.
