Widespan Complexes | Cold Storage

Along with the custom and bespoke aspect, the units are linked together to create our widespan complex. In essence, it is created by connecting two or more modules simply by removing one or both walls from an existing unit. Alternatively, a small aperture can be cut in each unit, depending on the size and shape of the desired complex. We design each complex after an initial consultation with you and we take the time to understand your specification requirements and current space.

Latest Technology

Not unlike, our other units the widespan complex will boast the latest in technology with controllers accurately holding temperatures between +30⁰C to -30⁰C. Furthermore, our data loggers make managing temperature history easy and features such as, mains failure and over/under temperature alarms alert you to any issues.

As always, energy efficiency and noise emissions are forefront of what we do, so each unit is designed to deliver energy efficiency and low noise emissions.

Safety First

Each unit is equipped as standard with non-slip resin floors, lighting, a door lock, a cold strip curtain, various alarms and data registration equipment for monitoring temperature. In addition, we offer various expansion options to meet your specific needs. The interior of the widespan is also food-safe and easy to clean allowing for a safe and manageable working environment. Plus, there are additional end-user safety features including personnel trapped alarms and emergency lighting.

Every complex is retrofitted with R404A refrigerant which ensures your business is compliant with government F-gas regulations.

Cross Docking

Our Cross Docking facilities help you to reduce miles travelled and the associated transport costs. Our in-house teams design, install and maintain the facilities in a fraction of the time of a conventional build, ensuring that your process flow and productivity can be achieved right away.
